- Jim Graden
Jim Graden is a renowned Master Trainer with a distinguished career in martial arts and fitness. A five-time member of the United States Karate Team, he competed in two World Kickboxing Championships, earning Silver Medals in London (1985) and Munich (1987), and capturing a Professional World Kickboxing Title in Palermo, Sicily in 1991.
A top protégé of legendary fighter Joe Lewis—widely regarded by many, including Chuck Norris, as the greatest martial artist of the 20th century—Jim is a 7th-degree master under Lewis. He is among the select few promoted to master rank by Lewis before his passing in 2012. Jim credits his mentor not only for shaping him into a World Champion, but for instilling a lifelong approach to training focused on strength, longevity, and health.
Driven by a passion for combining martial arts with functional fitness, Jim created two of the nation’s most successful programs: Cardio Karate and the Ultimate Body Challenge (UBC). His work has helped thousands improve their fitness while learning practical, real-world self-defense.
With decades of experience and a proven track record, Jim Graden is a trusted leader for those looking to build strength, move better, and stay prepared at any age.
