"I want to teach and train in the martial arts, but no longer want to own a martial arts school" After 40 years of owning and operating a martial arts school, I closed at the end of last year. Why? You may ask. Something I will discuss in future post. In this post I want to talk about the future of World Champion Martial Arts - featuring Joe Lewis Fighting Strategies.
When ever there is a major change in life, you can usually see it as a obstacle or an opportunity. I will be the first to admit I will greatly miss not teaching and owning my own school anymore. There is nothing like running a martial arts school. But for me, at this stage in my life, I want to teach martial arts and do martial arts but not own and operate a martial arts facility. So I am doing just that.
For the last three months I have been figuring out what I am going to do with the rest of my professional life. It is the end of contemplating and the beginning of a journey towards a clear path.
First, we have created a great relationship with UFC Clearwater. UFC Clearwater is owned and operated by a former student of mine, Fay, and we have found a home to teach World Champion Martial Arts.
Second, we have created a new program called ON THE GO - Fitness & Self Defense. A personal training service, with training opportunities in Clearwater/Largo Florida, online and or in the comfort of your own home.
I am very excited about my future and the future of World Champion Martial arts. I have other announcements coming. But until then take a look at our new video down below and you will see the future is looking very bright.
