Confidence in a child does not just happen. It comes from achieving short term goals that lead to a long term goal of achievement. That is exactly how we structure our Junior Martial Arts Program.
Short attainable belt goals that can lead to the great achievement of Black Belt.
You may be thinking "don't all karate schools do that?". Yes and no, you see, what sets World Champion Martial Arts apart is that we have a modern and old school approach to teaching martial arts.
What I mean is we teach a very modern mixed martial arts system that will insure that your child will learn how to effectively defend themselves. But at the same time teaching it in the same structure and manner of a traditional martial arts school. Making sure your child develops more than just fighting skills, additional skills like respect, focus and self discipline. Skills that will help your child in all aspects of his or her life.
You see most martial arts schools gives one or the other, but not both. Many MMA schools teach effective martial arts but treat it more like just a sport and leave out the true character development that should be a part of any martial arts training.
The traditional karate and taekwondo schools teach the character development but their techniques and systems are very old and outdated martial arts. Which can, in turn, give your child a false since of security when it comes to being able to defend themselves.
I started my training in traditional karate, taekwondo and Judo and truly believe that martial arts should be more than just learning how to fight. I also competed at the highest level in karate and kickboxing. Being selected to the United States Karate Team on five separate occasions, fighting in two world kickboxing championships and winning a World Kickboxing title. This is why we call our philosophy "The Champion Way".
The Champion Way For Juniors is learning effective martials arts and creating true confidence in yourself with the understanding that the goal of learning how to fight is so you don't have to.
“My two boys trained for years with Jim Graden, both ultimately obtaining their black belts. One graduated from West Point and is an Army Captain. The other is an Auburn Graduate and is a successful insurance agent. Their martial arts training gave them confidence to face many challenges. I count the many years of karate training as among the best experience of all”
